While listening to “The Voice” tonight, I heard one of the finalists sing “You Are So Beautiful”. Remember this powerful love song sung by Joe Cocker back in the 70’s?

As the young man sang those first words, “You are so beautiful to me”, God said, “this is my song to you and all of my creation”. Yes, He did!

Various artists have recorded this song, but God is the ultimate writer and recorder of love songs about His children. This is how He sees every person He has created and will create in the future – beautiful, everything He hoped for, filled with joy and happiness, a guiding light in the night.

This is how much He loves you and me. And He will never quit loving us or believing in us or celebrating His creation because He is the God who stays. He is the God of grace and mercy.
