Who Really Understands US?

There are many quotes about whether or not we truly “understand” each other. How many times have you heard a man say that he will “never understand my wife” or “who can ever understand a woman”? We laugh at that, but there may be some truth to it, don’t you think? After all, God did make us differently.

I found this quote which holds much truth:
You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view... Until you climb inside of his skin and walk around in it." - Harper Lee
I think of our Father in heaven who created each and every one of us. He didn’t have to “climb inside of (our) skin and walk around in it”. He knows us thoroughly because He designed and created us before the foundation of the world, and He knows every single thing about us.
From the Nov 14 devotional from “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young, I read the following:
Bask in the luxury of being fully understood and unconditionally loved. Dare to see yourself as I see you: radiant in My righteousness, cleansed by My blood. I view you as the one I created you to be, the one you will be in actuality when heaven becomes your home. It is My Life within you that is changing you from glory to glory. Rejoice in this mysterious miracle! Thank Me continually for the amazing gift of My Spirit within you.
Only God can truly understand and love us. How amazing is that?!
Thanks for stopping by,
Rachel
